Legal Assistance

1. U.S. Department of Labor (617-624-6700) enforces the Family and Medical Leave Act.

2. Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination enforces the state Parental Leave Law.

3. The state Attorney General's office enforces the Small Necessities Leave Act, the leave provisions of the Domestic Violence Law and Sick Time Law.

4. The Mass. Department of Family and Medical Leave oversees the new Paid Family & Medical Leave Act.
